Cancer Takedown is an uplifting evening of song, story and solidarity.
2026 marks a milestone – the 5th annual event.

Co-hosted by comedic powerhouses Linda Kash and Megan Murphy. Featuring incredible musicians Melissa Payne, Kate Suhr, Kate Brioux. Special guest performers Beau Dixon and The Weber Brothers. Amazing house band Nicholas Campbell, Brandon Munroe and Ian McKeown. The always entertaining Anthony Bastianon and MD supergroup Good Medicine. And a unique performance by local talent Kim Dafoe.

Cancer Takedown is a fundraiser, but more importantly it is a spirit-raiser for anyone touched by cancer. Our ambition is to bring attention to the emotional and mental burden of cancer, uniting people through shared experience. The show features cancer stories, focused on coping with the rollercoaster of emotions that are an inevitable part of the cancer experience.
