On June 27, the Ontario Recreational Canoeing and Kayaking Association (ORCKA) will host a special Adaptive Paddling Day, bringing together local organizations that support individuals with disabilities for a day on the water. Participants will have the opportunity to experience canoeing and kayaking using ORCKA’s adaptive paddling equipment, which is designed to help individuals with physical disabilities paddle safely and comfortably. The event aims to promote inclusion, recreation, and the many physical, mental, and social benefits of paddling, while demonstrating that waterways can be accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
